Mission Update: Mexico, March 7
Mission Experience in Partnership with ConeXión Mosaico
March 4–11, 2017
“You’ll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew, rebuild the foundations from out of your past. You’ll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, make the community livable again.” Isaiah 58:12 (MSG)
I found hope within this verse. While doing construction here in Mexico, the work has been very physically taxing. In the United States, we have machines to do the work, but here it is mostly all done by hand. However, it makes me appreciate buildings for what they are, as well as the hard work in constructing ConeXión Mosaico’s CentroRenovar and the vision that is behind it. To see the work that God is doing within these people and in this specific location is inspiring and uplifting.
I felt that this photo (above) truly shows the presence of the Lord at our construction site. Working hard has never been so rewarding.
