What Difference Does Easter Make?

Adult Education Study: Sundays, April 7 and 14, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

“After His suffering [Jesus] presented Himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over the course of forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.” (Acts 1:3)

On Sunday mornings, April 7 and 14, adults are invited to gather in the Hulme Room at 9:45 a.m. to participate in a study led by the Reverend Kendra Buckwalter Smith.

When the joyful “Alleluias!” of Easter Sunday fall silent in the face of the troubling realities of this life, we discover words of comfort and challenge from the One who gave Himself over to those realities that He might be raised victorious over them. In this Scripture study, we will explore accounts of Jesus’ post-resurrection appearances and consider what they teach us about living as an Easter people in a world desperately in need of resurrection hope.

Reminder: Nursery care for infants through two-year-olds starts at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, and Children’s Ministry leaders are ready to welcome older children during this time should families choose to participate.
