“Women at the Well” Bible Study Group
Shadyside Presbyterian Church welcomes women of all ages to gather with the “Women at the Well” for in-depth Bible study, discussion, fellowship, and snacks. Friendships and connections grow deeper when we share the Scriptures in study and prayer.
Beginning this fall and continuing through the spring, the topic will be women of the Bible. Subjects like “finding contentment in the truth, moving from comfort to courage, and learning to accept unconditional love” will be discussed. Twelve Women of the Bible: Life-Changing Stories for Women Today, a study guide by Sherry Harney, will inspire the discussion. As in the past, our study time together will include a video segment followed by conversation. Books may be ordered online from Amazon.com or from a local book distributor.
Beginning Thursday, September 26, the group will meet in the Craig Room from 10:30 a.m. to noon. In general, we meet on the second and fourth Thursday of each month through April, but check the calendar for exceptions.
Please join us as together we seek to quench the thirsting of our souls! If you need more information, please contact Deacon Connie Coffelt through the church office.
