All Saints’ Sunday Worship
November 6, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST
Worship occurs on-site and online on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
For the well-being of our congregation and our community, the church has established health and safety precautions to minimize risk for those attending our gatherings. To better prepare you for what to expect as you return to on-site worship, you may learn more here.
Note: Our service of worship at 11:00 a.m. on All Saints’ Sunday, November 6, will incorporate a celebration of the Sacrament of Communion, both on-site and online. Please read the invitation, which explains options for those joining us on-site and suggestions for preparation for those joining us at home.
If you cannot gather with us for worship in person, we hope you will gather with us in spirit by joining us remotely through our live worship webcast. Visit the live webcast page of the church website to access the worship video. Other worship documents, including the bulletin (.pdf format), also may be accessed from the live webcast page or the worship archive.
We thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during this transition. Please feel free to contact the church office should you have any questions.

All Saints’ Sunday
Christians throughout the world celebrate All Saints’ Day in honor of all the saints, both known and unknown. In most Protestant churches, it is celebrated on the first Sunday of November. Protestants regard all Christians, both past and present, as saints. As we solemnly remember all those who have died in the past year, we also focus on Christ’s victory over death. While the festival acknowledges the reality of death, we emphasize our hope in the Resurrection and our place in the “communion of saints.” As worship concludes with the hymn, “For All the Saints,” we will remember those members of Shadyside Presbyterian Church who have been received into the Church Triumphant during the past calendar year.
