Souper Bowl of Caring

Shadyside Presbyterian Church’s  Domestic Mission Committee will again partner with our Youth Ministry for the Souper Bowl of Caring food collection.

On Sunday, February 12, the youth will collect monetary donations and nonperishable food items for East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM). Paper bags and a list of suggested items (please see below) will be distributed on Sundays, January 29 and February 5. If you would prefer, you may bring your donation in a reusable grocery bag, which will be helpful to EECM. Checks should be made payable to “Shadyside Presbyterian Church” with “EECM Food Collection” on the memo line. Alternatively, you may give online at www.shadysidepres.org/give by selecting “EECM” from the drop-down fund menu.

Whether you are able to contribute both monetary gifts and food donations, or you are able to participate in just one of these ways, your prayers and support for those in our community who are hungry and homeless are appreciated, especially during these harsh winter months.

Please note that glass containers cannot be accepted. EECM appreciates your help and cooperation.
