Farewell and Appreciation for Justin Wallace

As Justin M. Wallace celebrates ten years as Assistant Organist at Shadyside Presbyterian Church this summer, he has accepted an offer from the University of Michigan to continue his harpsichord studies this fall. Requiring a residency of two to three years, this fully funded Doctor of Musical Arts program is tailored to the many aspects of performance, collaboration, research, and maintenance in which Justin is interested and has wanted to pursue more deeply for quite some time. In preparation for moving to Ann Arbor later this summer, Justin’s last Sunday at Shadyside will be July 23. Please join us following worship that day for a reception in the Sharp Atrium to thank Justin for his contributions to our Music Ministry over the past decade and to wish him well with his studies.
