Potluck Picnic Under the Tent

The Parish Life Ministry Team would like to invite all members, guests, and students to our annual Potluck Picnic immediately following the worship service on Sunday, September 10. The picnic will be held under a tent on the McClintock Lawn, rain or shine. The church will provide fried chicken and baked beans. Each family should bring an entrée or side dish that will serve at least 12. Ice cream, sorbet, and a variety of toppings will be provided for dessert. Don’t cook? Come anyway; we will have enough food for all. Comfortable clothing is encouraged. Please contact the church office or sign up in the Sharp Atrium to RSVP by Wednesday, September 6, and let us know what you will bring.

Also on Sunday, September 10, we will recognize the ministry of Nancy Shaytar during the service of worship, with an opportunity for individual congregation members to express their appreciation to her during the potluck picnic following worship. This summer, Nancy concludes her forty years of service as the Director of Finance. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the Lord for Nancy’s faithful service among us, and we rejoice with her in the new opportunities that lie ahead.
