Mission Dinner

The Mission and Urban Ministry Team invites you to hear the inspirational stories of our mission partners by attending our Mission Dinner Series, which begins Wednesday, September 4, at 6:00 p.m. Join us in the Parish Hall as we welcome the Reverend Michael Stanton, Executive Director and Co-founder of Open Hand Ministries.
Rev. Stanton was ordained by the PC(USA) to the position of Executive Director of Open Hand Ministries, Inc., one of our mission partners in Garfield and East Liberty which is committed to promoting justice and equality through homeownership. In 2007, Rev. Stanton co-founded the ministry with a number of like-hearted individuals and organizations from the neighborhood.
Although there is no charge for the dinner, a freewill offering will be received to offset the costs of the meal. Please RSVP by signing up in the Sharp Atrium or by contacting the church office. Nursery care is available. Families are encouraged to eat together; then, children may move to the Nursery during the presentation.
