Ash Wednesday Lenten Vespers

Join us as the season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 1, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, with the Reverend Dr. Conrad C. Sharps preaching.  Lenten vespers continue on Wednesdays through April 5. These 45-minute candlelight communion services include a homily, the Lord’s Supper, and music offered by the Shadyside Strings, Chatham Baroque, and the Choirs of the Pittsburgh School for the Choral Arts. Childcare is available. If you are unable to join us in person, we encourage you to join us via the live webcast.

Also, please plan to remain after vespers and join the pastors in the Craig Room for a Bible study and casual conversation about the Scripture passage on which the homily for that evening is based. Please pick up a copy of the Lenten booklet available in the Narthex and Sharp Atrium. Learn more.
