Good Friday Tenebrae Service ONLINE ONLY
April 2 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency, the Shadyside Presbyterian Church building and offices are open on a limited basis. Click here to learn more.
While we cannot be together on-site for any activities, we invite you to join us for online worship on Good Friday, April 2.
We are glad to share with you a live video webcast of our service of worship available on the live webcast page of the church website so that you may join us remotely at 7:00 p.m. on Good Friday. Other worship documents, including the bulletin (.pdf format), also may be accessed from the live webcast page or the worship archive.
The Service of Tenebrae (Latin for “darkness” or “shadows”) marks the events of Good Friday following the account in the Gospel according to St. Luke and features music by a cello trio.
We regret that we cannot gather in-person for worship, but we hope you will gather with us in spirit.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we follow this challenging course of action, but one we know to be responsible and safer for our congregation and our community.

Visit the worship archive to explore past worship services and discover resources for enhancing your personal devotional time as we face an extended period of physical separation from our community of faith.
