Good Friday Music and Readings
April 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
On Good Friday, April 7, our observance of Holy Week continues in an evening of music and readings at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
The service will feature composer John Stainer’s setting of The Crucifixion, offered by the Shadyside Chancel Choir, organ, strings, and soloists.
In addition to the choral offering, the service will include prayers and hymns.
Please join us as we remember Jesus’ Passion on the cross for us and as we anticipate with hope His Resurrection.
For the well-being of our congregation and our community, the church has established health and safety precautions to minimize risk for those attending our gatherings. To better prepare you for what to expect as you return to on-site worship, you may learn more here.
If you cannot gather with us for worship in person, we hope you will gather with us in spirit by joining us remotely through our live worship webcast. Visit the live webcast page of the church website to access the worship video. Other worship documents, including the bulletin (.pdf format), also may be accessed from the live webcast page or the worship archive.
We thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during this transition. Please feel free to contact the church office should you have any questions.
