EECM Food Collection

This spring, Shadyside Presbyterian Church invites members and friends to participate in a food collection for the Food Pantry at the East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM), which is experiencing an increase in food requests. Bags for donations will be distributed after worship on Sundays, June 4 and 11. A list of suggested donation items will be attached to the bags (please see below for suggestions). Filled bags will be collected at our worship service on Sunday, June 18. If you would prefer, you may bring your donation in a reusable grocery bag, which will be helpful to EECM.

If you are unable to attend the service, you are welcome to participate by dropping off your bag at the church office during the week before June 18. Monetary donations also are welcome; checks should be made payable to “Shadyside Presbyterian Church” with “EECM Food Collection” on the memo line, and placed in the offering plate on Sunday, June 18, or mailed to the attention of the Finance Office at the church’s postal address. Alternatively, you may give online at www.shadysidepres.org/give by selecting “EECM” from the drop-down fund menu.

Please consider serving the community in this simple but critical way.

Please note that glass containers cannot be accepted. EECM appreciates your help and cooperation.
