EECM Food Collection
February 16, 2020
In February, the Hunger and Homelessness Mission Action Community (MAC) of Shadyside Presbyterian Church invites you to participate in a food collection benefitting the Food Pantry at the East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM), which is experiencing an increase in food requests. Bags will be distributed after worship on Sundays, February 2 and 9, and a list of suggested donation items will be attached to the bag (please see below for suggestions). Filled bags will be collected at our worship service on Sunday, February 16. If you are unable to attend the service, you are welcome to participate by dropping off your bag at the church office during the week before February 16. Please consider serving the community in this simple but critical way.
This year, the youth of the church and the Hunger and Homelessness MAC are partnering for the Souper Bowl of Caring food collection. Learn more about the Souper Bowl of Caring.

Non-perishable food and other items to consider:
- Cereal (low sugar, high fiber)
- Canned tuna or salmon (packed in water)
- Fruit or vegetable juice (100%, any size)
- Canned beans
- Canned vegetables
- Peanut butter
