Summer Nights on the Grill
Update: The hands-on cooking classes for June have reached capacity registration, but if you are interested in learning in the kitchen with Chef Steven Bright, fear not! Additional classes are planned for the future. Details will be shared in advance of the next opportunity.
Tie on an apron and join Chef Steven Bright in the SPC kitchen for one of two hands-on cooking classes on Tuesday, June 13, or Thursday, June 15, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Chef Bright will share his secrets for sizzling and sensational “Summer Nights on the Grill,” including ribeye steak with lime guacamole butter, shrimp with mojo sauce, potato cauliflower salad with dill, marinated asparagus with roasted corn and red peppers, and, for dessert, chilled watermelon with balsamic reduction and vanilla ice cream. After we create these delicious recipes, we will enjoy them together while dining with classmates.
Classes will be limited to groups of six in teams of two. Cost for the class is $15 per person. Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair. Bring your favorite apron, and let’s get cooking! Register by signing up in the Sharp Atrium or contacting the church office.
