Congregational Meeting

The Session of Shadyside Presbyterian Church has called a special meeting of the congregation to be held in the Sanctuary immediately following the service of worship on Sunday, August 8, 2021. The purpose of the meeting is to act on the request of the Reverend Todd E. Leach that his pastoral relationship with Shadyside Presbyterian Church be dissolved effective August 31, 2021, so that he may accept a call to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, New York, and be so recommended to Pittsburgh Presbytery.

The format of the meeting will be hybrid, meaning that we will have attendees on-site in the Sanctuary and online via Zoom videoconferencing. The meeting will follow the guidelines established by the Pittsburgh Presbytery for hybrid meetings, in order to ensure that all participants are able to engage completely in the proceedings.

The Reverend Brian Wallace will moderate the meeting, and Stephen Donnelly will serve as our online host for Zoom participants. Rev. Wallace is Associate Minister to Pittsburgh Presbytery; Mr. Donnelly is a member of the Shadyside Presbyterian Church staff.

The link, telephone number, meeting ID, and passcode will not be shared publicly in the interest of keeping the meeting secure, but these details will be provided directly to members in a letter delivered by the United State Postal Service and in an email on the morning of Sunday, August 8.
