Ash Wednesday Lenten Vespers

Join us as the season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, with a candlelight Communion service that includes a homily by the Reverend Lynn M. Portz, the Lord’s Supper, the ancient custom of the imposition of ashes, and music offered by mezzo-soprano Loghan Bazan Wright, violinist Maureen Conlon Gutierrez, cellist Elisa Kohanski, and organist Justin M. Wallace. Nursery care is available.

Lenten vespers continue on Wednesdays through April 1. These 45-minute candlelight Communion services include a homily, the Lord’s Supper, and music offered by the Shadyside Strings, Chatham Baroque, and the Pittsburgh Girls Choir. Nursery care is available.
