Hospitality Coordinator

Steven Bright joined the Shadyside Presbyterian Church staff as Hospitality Coordinator in October 2015. A graduate of the International Culinary Academy in Pittsburgh, Steven has worked for many years as an executive chef, and also developed his own catering business. He brings both expertise and experience in kitchen management and food preparation, and is excited about working to provide hospitality in all areas of our life together. “One of the many things I am eagerly looking forward to is starting up a series of cooking demonstrations and instructional hands-on classes for the food lovers of the parish,” says Steven.

In his role as Hospitality Coordinator, Steven oversees the kitchen; prepares food for fellowship, mission, and special events; and recruits and trains volunteers to engage in various aspects of hospitality.
