Jacqueline Spycher

A native of Michigan, Jacqueline Spycher earned a Master of Divinity with a certificate in Reformed Studies from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts from Chatham College in media arts, graphic design, and women’s studies. Ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in January 2018, Jackie presently serves Northbrook Presbyterian Church in Beverly Hills, Michigan, as Pastoral Assistant.
Previously, Jackie served as the Director of Youth Ministries for Shadyside Presbyterian Church, and as the campus chaplain to Yale University through First Presbyterian Church in New Haven, Connecticut. She coordinated young women’s ministries for the Presbyterian Mission Agency of the General Assembly and directed the intern and hospitality programs for Sojourners in Washington, D.C. Most recently, she served as the Director of Discipleship for Brooklyn Presbyterian Church in southern Michigan.
Jackie’s call to ministry is centered around welcome, inclusion, and community. She has a great passion for hearing people’s stories, building relationships, and social justice advocacy. Beyond ministry, she enjoys the arts, traveling, kayaking, baking, and watching the Detroit Tigers.
As a past member of our church family and our church staff, Jackie is a ministerial daughter of Shadyside Presbyterian Church; we thank God for the blessing Jackie has been to our congregation and for calling her into ministry. Please join us in praying for God’s continued blessings upon Jackie.
