Music in a Great Space proudly presents the Kent Camerata in concert on Sunday, March 14, at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 412-682-4300 or at the door. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors (60 and older), and free for students and children.

The Kent Camerata, a professional vocal/instrumental ensemble affiliated with Kent State University’s Hugh A. Glauser School of Music, was founded in 1995 as part of the “Kent-in-Florence” music program and took its name and inspiration from the Florentine Camerata of the Renaissance. Since the group’s debut tour in Italy, the Kent Camerata has performed with great appreciation in many parts of the world – including Germany, Ireland, France, and China, in addition to Canada and the United States. The Camerata’s quick-paced programs of colorful repertoire include masterpieces by Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Rossini, Schumann, Brahms, Ravel, Fauré, Britten, and Barber. For the ensemble’s Music in a Great Space appearance, Shadyside Chancel Choir soloist Curt Scheib will contribute vocally to a number of pieces. You’re invited to come be engaged by the Kent Camerata and share in the joy of beautiful music-making!
