Jory Vinikour is recognized as one of the outstanding harpsichordists of his generation.  Born in Chicago, Mr. Vinikour journeyed to Paris on a scholarship from the Fulbright Foundation.  First prizes in the International Harpsichord Competitions of Warsaw (1993) and the Prague Spring Festival (1994) brought him to the public’s attention, and he has since appeared at the world’s most important festivals and concert halls – throughout Europe and the United States, as well as South America and Taiwan.  Fanfare writes that his “graceful lyricism” and his “light-fingered speed … reveal a musician who is tasteful as well as nimble,” and Early Music America hails his “flexible and sympathetic playing.”  Witness Jory Vinikour’s “imaginative vitality” (Chicago Tribune) for yourself, and hear this remarkable instrument played by an indisputable master.
