From September through May\, midweek vespers occur on Wednesdays at 7\:00 p.m. These thirty-minute candlelight worship services\, which include communion\, offer a more intimate worship experience in the midst of our hectic lives. The services feature special music.

Before food reaches the homes of families in need\, it is touched by the hands of many volunteers. (Only twenty-five percent of all food is handled by paid employees of the food bank.) Without the assistance of community volunteers\, most of the food would go to waste before it ever reached those who need it most. But it is there that our spiritual character is best formed\, and we find the faith we need to cross the Jordan into the Promised Land.
